User Reviews of the Canon MP220
I bought this machine after spending the best part of four weeks trawling the web, in an attempt to find an all-in-one inkjet printer which wouldn''t break the bank in its running costs but still give nice output. There didn''t seem to be that many reviews out there for the canon MP220 so I was still a bit unsure when I arrived at the shop but I''m glad I took the plunge.
The print speed for a mono document caught me off guard, I''d been used to being able to go out to the kitchen and flick the switch for the kettle to boil and get back to the living room again before my now dead Epson stylus C42+ had printed one page but the Canon MP220 had shot the finished page out before I had moved a couple of feet. I tell you I was impressed, the clarity was excellent despite not having asked it to do the highest quality setting and it put my old printer to shame. Its nice not having to purchase a separate photo cartridge either for this machine. I''ve printed out a few colour photos now and the quality is very good (once again I didn''t have it on the highest setting).
I can''t comment on the pictbridge capabilities as although the facility is there, I don''t have a digital camera. I have used everything else on the machine since buying it and have yet to find anything to moan about although I would have preferred a front loading paper tray!
