Canon Ixus 900 Ti Digital Camera

I am surprised that no one else has raised this issue. How can such a magnificent product like this have such a great flaw. There is no where to can check the battery power level until it is too late when the battery indicator appears on the screen. Most other electronic products today provide the users with an up to date status of the battery. If you consider that this product is used by tourists, it can been extremely frustrating when the battery indicator appears only a very short time before the battery power fails and usually when they are miles away from their hotel or place to recharge the battery which normally takes some time.
