For anyone who has purchased this outstanding printer namely the canon pixma MP610 the Bluetooth Adaptor is a welcome addition to provide the marvelous flexibility of wireless printing from a laptop. I have always has Canon printers. My previous one is 12 years old and nothing has gone wrong with it, even though it was used daily .I needed to update my system, and settled for a HP laptop with windows Vista and the above Canon printer. It was easy to set up and the on screen manual is faultless.I am not an IT expert and a little technophobic but the instructions were clear and straigtforward. Within 40 mins everthing was ready to go, and I have been able to copy print documents, scan, and print photos of superb quality. I chose the printer as all reviews rated it''s features. However I would have preferred the flexibility of wireless printing when I can sit anywhere at home instead of at the printer. I phoned Canon and a helpful technical support Assistant recommended this Adapter to suit my purpose. She gave me lists of stockists, and telephone numbers for prices and web mail addresses . She explained that I would also need a USB adapter for my laptop which is easily available if my laptop was not Bluetooth enabled.I had the confidence to proceed. within minutes of inserting the adaptor my wireless printing system was up and running. Wireless printing is now a breeze, from my laptop, phone, and camera. It is as good as it gets. I would say the best wireless system on the market. I do not regret this choice.The range is excellent and the speeed of printing remains the same It is as good as it gets
