We have had the Cannon Stratford many years and with a thorough weekly clean remains in new condition. We did have a small problem (at time of purchase) with oven ignition but looked as if the thermostat was damaged on delivery. A quick visit by the installing engineer put everything in order. Very, very happy with it.

The door to our stratford has fallen of,and the flame keeps going out unless you keep the door open and allow to become fully lit,the cooker is also hard to clean,and for the price qiute badly made

I ''ve had a black cannon stratford cooker for a couple of years or more and it does what it''s supposed to do. It cooks food, grills roasts etc and i have had no problems with it. I am only changing it because i have fitted a new kitchen and now have a built in oven. hope to sell it as it works fine

Do not buy this cooker. It has been a nightmare from the day we bought it. The door fell of after a week, we complained and an engineer came out and actually glued the door together saying it would be OK. It wasn''t. My husband repaired it himself. When you close the oven door when the cooker is lit the flames blow out. The kitchen becomes full of gas. The cooker is not safe. I would never leave it on unless I was in the house. A total waste of money.

We had not had it very long (just out of guarantee) when the door fell apart. It is a nightmare to clean. There were not enough shelves. Basically a very bad buy!
