I have read endless reviews promoting the altec IM7 and the apple dock stations and scoring higher than the BOSE before you buy do what I did get these three in a line take your own I-pod and listen to them side by side,I defy anyone to not recognize the chasm in quality the Bose is class and leaves the others in their muffled confusion I am staggered that anyone could think of bringing a comparison Don't listen to the reviewers go listen to the BOSE its the dogs bxxxxxks
