Media BM6300 Sat Nav Blue
User Reviews of the Bluemedia BM6300 Sat Nav / GPS Receiver
Good satnav with a few quirks - I''m not keen about the multiple letter buttons, its too easy to make a mistake. (I prefer the TOMTOM system) I don''t like the fiddly clip on system used to hold the satnav to the windscreen (again, TOMTOM is a lot more simpler and less likely to break) In use, the BM6300 is very good, although it does suffer from the same problem as the TOMTOM - it doesn''t combine fastest road with shortest distance, so is inclined to use main roads for fastest route. It updates very quickly if a wrong turn is made and you have an option about ''U'' turns - I prefer not to use them. I would like more information on screen, speed, ETA, time now, distace to target, compass, etc - with my TOMTOM I get it all, with my BM6300 I have to choose what I want and can only have 2 items at once. I think over all, the BM6300 is a very good satnav and if the little niggles could be ironed out, it could be a leader - but TOMTOM have set the mark and its going to be hard to beat.
