Bought this TV because of its style and it seemed to have a decent picture (as compared to others incl lcds and plasmas) As with all TVs inlets/outlets should be to the side and easier to access but as with a lot of design I am sure it is male produced. .. We are very impressed with the appearance; personal colour application.. (ie: soft, natural, rich) teletext etc..still checking out other applications but so far ... great value for money
