Apple Iphone 8 Gb Smartphone
I always wanted to get an Iphone from day it was released, with all the build up excitement, and everyone talking about how great it is, I want to be in the trend. Being an owner of numerous Ipods from classic to the nano''s i was thinking why not get the iphone as well.
I love the stylish black and silverslim body of the phone. The big screen is good for viewing pictures and viewing the internet websites and you tube, but its too big to put in your pocket, it wouldnt fit a small evening purse as well. On a recent night out with my friends i had to choose between my digital camera and my Iphone, with my purse..I had to choose purse and camera.
Battery and sim card is internal so if for example i broke my phone by accidental damage or there is internal chip damage, i wouldnt have my sim card until phone is repair probably. Also if my battery is dead, or something wrong with it, again I wouldnt be able to just take my sim card and use it on another phone. And i did experience few times my phone get stuck and i couldnt answer a call, i have to reset it. My friend who has an Iphone commented on this as well.
For ladies with fake nails, long acrylic nails wouldnt work as you have to use the phone by touch and not tap.
I love to text, it took time to get used to typing words by just touching. I get a lot of mistypes, but thats something i have to just get used to and practice. With texting, the downside is i can''t find a way to forward a text, and i can''t keep a text message i want to keep because it''s in a chat version. So when i recieve lovely quote message from my mum, i couldnt forward this and share to my friends via text, i can''t keep that particular message only, if it gets deleted all of my message conversation sent and recieved from that person is cleared or deleted as well. That is something basic and Apple should've included on the Iphone.
Sounds, it has 1 speaker and 1 mic, so sound quality is not very good its not to listen to music in loud speaker but its excellent on the head set and proper speaker pods. I love the Ipod part of it of course. About the ring tones, i can''t purchase and use other Ring tones, so i am stuck with Ring tones on whatever is there on the phone and i checked on Itunes theres no decent ring tones for Iphone as well. What a shame.
Camera, as i mentoned earlier the screen is big enough to view pictures although it only has 2.5 megapixels. Downside again no video, this is something basic now adays and available to even cheaper phones.
Battery life is not good specially when i use You Tube or browse a lot. But theres so much to do with the phone, so with the features battery life is not particullary good.
About the Games in the phone, you can only play Apple web applications, some games are too basic some are ok.
As for other features, i love the Weather Forecast, Clock, Photos to view, You Tube and internet.
Its the only phone i have personally spent so much, i bought the phone its pricey witht he contract of course, plus i had to buy an Iskin to protect my Iphone, my Itrip for my ipod doesnt work for Iphones lead is too short so i have to buy a new car kit for my Iphone.
Its a special phone, not user friendly though, not for rough use, stylish, classy.
If you have money to spend its good to have one, but for practicality then Iphone''s not for you. As for me, i learned to love my phone the way it is. I must say i email a lot, sue all the media on the phone a lot, so its maybe the perfect phone for people like me.
