IRiver is one of the leading names in highly portable music and now also video. The new IRiver U10 introduces a much sleaker and cleaner design.

Good points
Lock - stops you from accidentally changing tracks or stopping the track when it is in your pocket. Basically when the lock slider is engaged all buttons are disabled. Compact design - the face of the unit is not much Slightlybigger than the 2.2 inch high res colour display. Supports subscription audio services - play all your legally purchased tracks. Screen turns off after a short period of no activity to conserve the extensive battery life (up to 28 hours usage). Clean animated display

Bad Points
Slightly Fiddly controls. Whilst the whole unit is very small there is no reason the controls should be as small as they are. Interface is controlled by actually pressing down the left, right, top, bottom and centre of the screen which is great, expect that it isnt immediately obvious unless you read the instructions.
