Sleek, sexy and shiny, are the best words to describe the gorgeous new offspring from Sony. The Sony DSC-T100 is an 8 mega pixel masterpiece with all of the mod cons that we expect from a digital camera today, a 3" LCD screen, 5x optical zoom, and most importantly (to some) is available in luscious red! It is also available in sultry silver and pure jet black. We can also look forward to the state of the art HD output, double anti-blur and face detection technologies to ensure that your images are second to none with minimal noise and excellent clarity. | The Cybershot T100 is a stunning digital camera with a cool minimalist appearance that just screams class. The front of the camera has sliding panel that covers the lens when not in use and on this panel is a shiny metallic strip which stands out from the body with the Cybershot logo on. The top of the T100 has the shutter release button and on the back is the power button along with the playback button, zoom rocker, menu button, d-panel and home button. The 3" LCD screen dominates the rear and is a great size to view those memories and is also great for showing off your home made movies. The dimensions of the T100 are 91.8mm (w) x 59.2mm (h) x 22.3mm (d) and has a weight of 141g unloaded. |

| The features on the 8 mega pixel Sony Cybershot DSC-T100 are some of the most impressive we have ever seen and are totally future proof. The high definition ouput is the best excample of this as it allows you to view your still images on a HDTV via a cable (shame they can't be viewed via bluetooth, but it won't be long until we can do this). Sony have also introduced the ultimate in photo sharing with the T100 too, as you can purchase the optional Sony Package DPP-FPHD1 which has a HD component cable, Cybershot cradle, a remote commander and a printer with component HD output, hook the T100 to your HDTV and as you view your images, you can print them off and hand them out to family and friends instantly as they will print within 45 seconds. The T100 boasts a 5x optical zoom, 8.5xHD smart zoom, 10x digital zoom and upto 25x smart zoom. (Smart zoom is a new technology that Sony has introduced which enables you to zoom into certain parts of an image that you wish to retain and discard the remainder). The T100 has double anti-blur technology which combines Sony's Super Steadyshot and a high sensitivity of 3200 ISO, so you are ensured of crisp, sharp images without a doubt. Face detetction works wonderfully, by focusing on faces within an image and ensuring they are in correct focus, this will take effect on up to 9 faces within a single image so is great for a family shot or weddings. A BIONZ processor has been thrown in to improve the picture quality and for high speed operation. A HD slideshow can be viewed with music either on the massive LCD screen or on a HDTV.
