The Sharp LC-46XL2E LCD TV has a super slim-line glossy black frame with some of the control lights on the front bottom panel. This is quite rare to see on a widescreen TV as anything on the front can distract your eyes from the screen itself. The speakers are located on the bottom panel too but in a separate section and the screen comes with a stand. The stand is very square and sharp, like the TV itself and with a depth of just under 96mm, looks great wall mounted.

| Sharp have ensured the LC-46XL2E has all of the necessary features required on an LCD TV. This is a HD Ready 1080p LCD TV and has a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1 along with 100Hz double frame drive, De-Juddering Picture Enhancement Technology, 3x HDMI outputs, 4ms response times, 10 bit signal processing and 24 Hz compatible. The HDMI connections have the built-in Deep Colour V1.3 are can receive 1080p/24fps from most Blu-ray Players. SRS TruSurround and Clear Voice are featured to provide great sound and enhanced voice clarity when there is background noise. |

| The colours displayed on the Sharp LC-46XL2E are vibrant and bold and detail is shown brilliantly. Black levels are extremely impressive providing natural looking images with great depth. We found that HD images were displayed much better than Standard Definition images, and although we know that this is supposed to be the case, we mean that SD images were quite fuzzy and soft, whereas the HD images were very sharp and bright and exactly what you expect from a HD TV. The HD images from the Sharp LC-46XL2E were some of the best we have seen. |

| The Sharp LC-46XL2E is a fantastic LCD TV with great features and stunning high definition images. Standard definition images left a lot to be desired but with the HD ones looking so good, why would you want to look at the SD images. This 46” is a bit on the expensive side, but we strongly believe in ‘you get what you pay for’ and you get a lot of good quality images with this one. |
