Samsung Z5 Worth A Look Review
Editor
Samsung have always been something of an also ran in the MP3 market they generally launched players with hard to use operating systems and poor build quality. The new Z5 seems to be something new from the Korean based company in that it looks great the build is good and has one of the easiest to use operating system out there, thanks in part to having Microsoft Play For Sure Built-In. The Z5 plays both MP3’s and WMA files so you should be able to get your music from almost every online store. The exterior is a scratch proof light weight aluminium which helps to keep the weight down to a very light 58 grams. Into this small frame Samsung have squashed ether a 4GB, 2GB or 1GB flash memory and the battery life is a reported 35 hours (take with a pinch of salt). The sound quality produced is very good thanks to DNSe Portable 3D Sound Technology, a dedicated sound engine designed to reproduce music in 3D surround sound. The main downside is that it cannot support video clips on it 1,5 Inch LCD screen. The main upside will be its relatively low priced at around £115. This player is defiantly worth a look if you want a good quality strong MP3 player and don’t want to be tied in to using iTunes. |
