Samsung T9 MP3 Player Review
They’re all at it, and Apple must feel threatened by the ever-growing number of manufacturers that are creating their own version of the iPod and iPod Nano. Samsung are one of the MP3 Player followers with a great addition they have called the YP-T9. A close relation to the YP-K3, the T9 has some stunning extras and we can’t wait to have a go. The Samsung YP-T9 is a great looking MP3 player that is similar in appearance to the iPod Nano but is slightly thicker with dimensions of 42.6mm (w) x 83mm (h) x 11mm (d) and has a few more buttons. The front panel lights up when touched and the 1.8” screen is bright and clear. The black body is shiny and looks very chic with a silver strip running down either side where the buttons are located.

| The Samsung YP-T9 has a few additional features than the YP-K3 and also the iPod Nano. One of the main features being Bluetooth, so you can chuck away those earphones with wires and invest in a pair of Bluetooth earphones that will wirelessly connect to the T9 and watch your friends turn a shade of green. Watch MPEG Video playback on the massive 1.8” screen and although it has a low 176x144 resolution, the screen is very clear and detailed. Downloading video files is a piece of cake and only takes a few steps and the T9 will take over and convert it into a file it is happy to play. The other addition is the Radio Tuner that the iPod Nano lacks. It is worth noting that the Bluetooth earphones will not work when listening to the Radio or when watching a video. | ||||

| The images on the 262k colour screen are very impressive and video playback is easy to operate and stunning to view. The sound quality is equally as impressive with clarity and depth. We particularly like the usability of the Samsung YP-T9 MP3 player as it is easy to pick up and get to grips with straight away and not have to refer to manuals and such like. | ||||

| The Samsung YP-T9 MP3 Player is a very competitive model on the market and it certainly gives the higher spec models a sprint for their money. It would be a difficult choice between the T9 and the iPod versions and we are still trying to make our minds up. | ||||
