A review of the Samsung NV24HD Digital Camera

The Samsung NV24HD digital camera is evidently a Samsung camera with its solid and robust looks, but still retaining a certain amount of class. This NV model has some new and unique features which certainly make it stand out in a crowd. The front of the NV24HD has the zoom lens on the black body with a cool blue 'Samsung' ring around it. The rear of the camera has all the fun bits, with a 2.5" screen with smart touch interface and a row of buttons along the bottom of the screen. There are two mode dials on the top of the camera which allow you to adjust the colour mode and alter between manual and automatic modes. It is quite a weighty camera, but this seems to reassure us of the build quality. |

As the name reveals, the Samsung NV24HD is fully equipped with high definition technology to provide you with perfectly clear images that can be viewed on a HD LCD/Plasma TV via a HDMI cable. The NV24HD is also enabled with Anynet+ technology which is Samsung's answer to using one remote to control your devices. There is 24mm ultra wide angle lens on board for capturing those landscape shots, NEW DRIM Engine II Image Processing Algorithm which allows you to capture images with amazing colour at an exceptionally fast speed, therefore eliminating digital noise etc. Other features include, Dual Image Stabilisation, Face Detection, Smile Shot, Blink Detection, along with the ability to record HD quality movies of 720p resolution at 30ftps. |

Nothing is compromised with the Samsung NV24HD, it has a solid and robust body and offers a great performance with stunning image quality and great colour reproduction. Images look even better when viewed on a HDTV and the high definition quality really shines through. The manual and automatic options both work really well and offer lots of chances to experiment to gain the best results. The Smart Interface can take a while to get used to but after a play its quite easy and offers loads of options to enhance your snaps. |
