| The Panasonic PZ81B Plasma TV has a very basic design, but at the same time has a certain level of class. The matt black frame surrounds a solid screen and a strong rectangular stand supports the screen. The bottom panel of the screen makes it look very chunky and we personally would have preferred it without the extra section to create a more slim line and picture frame effect. |

| The Panasonic PZ81 is the first Tv to be introduced with Freesat on board. Freesat is a new digital satellite service that offers free HD TV programmes. This service is included all ready installed on the TV and offers programmes with sharp images and vivid colours, as well as many interactive services. Other features with the PZ81 series include: Intelligent Frame Creation with less flicker, 24p Real Cinema, High Contrast Ratio of 30,000:1, 5,120 steps of gradation, Viera Link, HD Photo Viewer, and AVCHD playback. There are two other size screens available apart from the 42" screen, 46" and 52". There are 3 HDMI connections, 2 SCARTs, component connection and the usual standard video connections. |

| The performance of the Panasonic is truly outstanding, displaying amazing colours and clarity with every scene and image. The black levels are deep and detailed with no grey tones to mention. Freesat standard definition images are very good and high definition images are extremely good. Freesat images are easily viewed and the on screen Tv guide takes you through every step and provides programme info. Sound is solid and deep and probably the best sound we have heard from a plasma, to which you could even get by without the aid of a surround system, it's that good. |

| The Panasonic Viera PZ81B Plasma TV is amazing in every sense of the word and delivers everything it promises. The added bonus of Freesat is great and provides an alternative to Sky or Freeview and being built-in reduces the amount of hardware you have around. Good value and excellent results. |
