A review of the Panasonic DMP-BD10 Blu-Ray Disc Player
If you want to be in the thick of the action in today’s high tech world then you need a Blu-Ray disc player. They might be ever so expensive, but really it’s a small price to pay to have this sort of equipment knocking around the lounge. The Panasonic DMP-BD10 Blu-Ray Disc player has an impressive spec list but doesn’t’t win us over in the looks department, but as we always say at Unbeatable, don’t judge a Blu-Ray disc Player by its cover. Design |
| As we mentioned in the intro, the Panasonic BD10 Blu-Ray Disc may not be the best thing to look at and it is rather bulky for a state of the art piece of kit, but that is just the shell. The front of the BD10 has a sleek mirrored panel that displays the time and the Panasonic logo. The main body of the player is a grey plastic which does look a bit cheap and nasty but you only tend to have the front panel on show so who cares. The remote control is a bit on the bulky side too but the buttons are all needed and large which we like and there is a dial which is fun to play around with and easy to operate. |
| Features |
| For the price, we expect the Panasonic BD10 Blu-Ray Disc Player to come up trumps in the features department and to be entirely honest, it does. Most importantly the BD10 is capable delivering Blu-ray discs at the optimum quality in 1920x1080p at 24 fps. In order to achieve the most natural and smooth motion on an image this is the perfect arrangement as you are viewing the disc rate at the same frame rate as the film. With 15 billion pixels per second processing and 192kHz/24bit audio for each of eight channels, the Panasonic BD10 player provides you with such a high level of sound and image quality it will knock your socks off. Along with a HD TV, the Panasonic DMP-BD10 Blu-ray Disc player will ensure that the HD image you receive is truly spectacular and creates the ultimate in entertainment viewing. |
