| Not too dissimilar from every other LCD TV on the market, but just different enough, the LT-32X7BJ is a handsome set. Sitting below the sleek piano black frame is a angular silver strip stretching the length of the TV. The inbuilt speakers assist in keeping to the uncluttered design. You will have to decide for yourself if you like the blue neon light above the JVC logo – our opinion is that it could have done without. If you need to measure up at home the dimensions are 800W x 545 H x 133 D mm. |

| Benefiting from the JVC’s DynaPix HD picture processing engine, the LT-32X7BJ is a real picture performer. Working alongside this is the Digital Image Scaling Technology, together they help to reduce noise, adapt frame rate conversions to improve motion handling, manage colour, and boost detail and sharpness. The picture performance is also enhanced by the 1366 x 768 resolution. It has both analogue and digital tuners with a 7-day electronic programme guide for those winter months when it doesn’t bear thinking about leaving the house. The audio is expertly handled by the MaxxBass Processor to give a powerful performance. We were happy to find that the LT-32X7BJ’s connectivity didn’t let us down, with 2 HDMI connections, 2 component jacks, a PC port and CI slot for TopUp TV. For standard definition TV you still have a scart, S-Video and Composite. |

| Watching a standard definition picture on the LT-32X7BJ was surprisingly impressive. It is the best SD picture we have ever seen on an LCD TV. Unfortunately we were a little let down by HD. When watching Planet Earth HD we noticed the black levels are slightly short of enough depth but overall images were sharp with lots of detail, with thanks to DynaPix. The colours generated by the LT-32X7BJ are delightful and skin tones were realistic. We noticed a minute amount of noise but once we’d set the super digipure system to low it was no longer a problem. Our favourite feature on the LT-32X7BJ is the sound, for small-inbuilt speakers they really throw out some huge noise. Vocal tones were balanced and bass levels were good. |

| Futuristic connectivity, superb picture performance, breathtaking sound and handsome looks for a little under a grand. You surely couldn’t want for more. Buy it and you will definitely not be disappointed. |
