Freeplay Energy Ranger AM FM DAB Digital Radio Review

Freeplay has been making products that, which due to their low price, have slotted nicely into most markets at entry level.  Now, the guys at Freeplay have added a splash of colour to their latest DAB line with the Freeplay Ranger.

Design

The name ranger is slightly obscure, as this radio would stand out like a sore thumb in the park due to its bright blue, grey and yellow design.  It’s small at just 99 x 20.3 x 6.1 cm and weighs 694g, making it a perfect portable radio, maybe for a bedroom, bathroom, or kitchen.

Features
You can listen to DAB, AM and FM radio via the Freeplay Ranger designer digital radio.  Its self-sufficiency promises a digital radio performance anytime, anywhere.  With a choice of wind-up, solar and rechargeable power, it will keep going as long as you want, and it’s got a 2 year warranty too
Performance

By simply turning the radio on, the user will see the pre-tuned digital stations can be browsed easily, with a clear LED display.  Whether you’re listening via the included earphones, or aloud, you are guaranteed an uncompromised performance from start to finish.
