iPad available in the UK now
The two websites are, Purelygadgets and SimplyElectronics who stock the Apple iPad and both are offering free delivery. Purelygadgets are selling the iPad at £700 for the 16GB, £768 for the 32GB version and £870 for the 64GB version.
This is quite a bit more expensive than if you were to buy the iPad directly from Apple when it becomes available, which will be approximately £385 for the 16GB Wi-Fi iPad. However, if you're desperate you could try SimplyElectronics who are selling the iPad at £540, £630 and £740.
We are still waiting with baited breath for a release date here in the UK, although the wait is almost over as talks of the end of April have been going on for some time. With a bank holiday happening at the start of May, the likely weekend for the launch would be Saturday 24th April. We shall see.
See our news too on the latest info of the iPhone 4.0 OS which has been launched at the Apple event that took place yesterday.
