Windows 6.5 was a welcome addition in anticipation for Windows 7, and Windows have been struggling with the likes of Google and Apple leading the market and as the market was quiet, Apple launched the iPhone with its impressive user interface which held no bars and is now the standard for all to follow. This ultimately knocked Windows from the top spot and they are now a huge part of the following.
As Windows Mobile 7 is being tweeked and perfected, Apple will be launching a new iPhone and Google will have its update on the way, so time is not exactly on its side and the sooner that Windows join the race to the top spot the better.
