Vodafone secures Apple iPhone deal

The happy, happy people at Vodafone have just secured a deal with Apple to sell the iPhone under the network.

After losing out to O2 and T-Mobile last year, Vodafone have been having sleepless nights ever since, but have finally won this fantastic opportunity. The Apple iPhone will be available on the Vodafone network in 9 countries, Australia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey. The touch screen gadget is only currently available is 6 countries, being the US, France, Ireland, Austria, Germany and the UK.

Apple releases the 3G faster version of the iPhone soon in the already established countries and we are sure the expectant countries are hoping that this includes them too.
