With the ease of drag and drop, you are able to transfer tracks straight from your CD’s to your phone with the simple to use software included. TrackID is another innovative feature that allows you to record a few seconds of an unknown song from a radio speaker and then sends the music to Gracenote Mobile Music ID, which will then recognise the track and within seconds the album, artist and track name will be sent to your mobile phone. There is also a brand new feature called PlayNow which allows you to choose, buy and download tracks to your mobile phone. Once you have pressed the PlayNow button you can choose from a list of new releases and even hear them before you decide to purchase them. The price will be displayed on the screen and it will also ask you if you wish to use it as a ring tone.
The phone itself has some great new features too. The screen can be displayed horizontally or vertically so you can view images either way on the large, crystal clear screen. The Shake Control feature allows you to select a song using a flick of the wrist and the SensMe feature allows you to choose a song or create a playlist by mood. There are plenty of games to keep you entertained too and these can be cleverly controlled by tilting the phone left and right, forwards and backwards. The W910i also has a built-in digital camera, video call, blogging options, web browsing and a media manager. The Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Phone is available now for £299.99.
