The Pentax Optio M90 Camera Available In June

Pentax has launched a new a 12.1-megapixel compact camera, the Optio M90, which the company describes in the press release as perfect for a variety of photography scenes and modes.

The previously mentioned 12.1-megapixel sensor is accompanied by a 2.7-inch LCD on the back and a wide-angle 5x zoom lens. The exterior is coated with rubber for shock protection and easy handling. There is also ISO up to 1600, burst shooting at 14.6fps and 480p video recording.
It comes with the expected automatic scene selection modes and that includes, face, smile and blink detection. The camera comes in a reddish color pictured below and basic black. Other major features include a wide angled optical 5X zoom lens in a compact body. This is ideal for people wanting to capture large groups of people or landscape shots. Retails at £120.
