Steve Jobs Brags iPad 2 - Apple Unveils a More Compact Tablet

Straight from humble Steve Jobs mouth himself, he had this to say about the Apple iPad 2, "These are not marginal improvements."  He went on to explain that Apple pretty much owns the tablet computer market, like we said, humble! The iPad 2 was released today and is sleeker, lighter, and faster than its predecessor. It features a A5 chip along with a dual core processor that will double the speed of the original iPad.

We can also look forward to a new design in a more compact form. The first iPad measured in at 13.4 mm and the iPad 2 is only 8.8mm. That's quite a difference when holding them side by side. However, two things Mr. Jobs can't brag about are the weight and battery life as Apple wasn't able to improve in either of those areas. The iPad 2 will last just as long as the original, around 10 hours.
