Sony's New Vaio E Series Notebooks Misses the

Recenetly at CES in Las Vegas, we heard Stan Glasgow, Sony Electronics President explain that they wanted to be "cool" again. After seeing Sony's release of the new Vaio Series Notebooks now available for pre-order, it's clear that this dream of Glasgow's has just been crushed.

Perhaps to redeem themsleves in the style department, Sony has come up with a series of colors and patterns to help you, uhhh, express yourself?  Potential choices to represent you and your personality include Iridescent Blue, Hibiscus Pink, Lava Black and Coconut White. If those options aren't funky enough for you, check out the newest Signature Collection model, the Caribbean Green E Series notebook. 

The Sony Blog states, "Performance wise, it’s everything you’ve come to expect in a VAIO notebook. Designed with a 15.5” (diag.) LCD screen, the pre-built models include an Intel® Core™ i3-330M (2.10GHz), Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit ,4GB RAM, a CD/DVD burner, a webcam, and Bluetooth capability."

Keyboard skins run around $20, while mouse covers are around $6.
