But it’s true.  Sony has produced the world’s smallest projector, and it really does sit snuggly in the palm of your hand.

Now donÂ’t get too excited, this projector wonÂ’t deliver cinematic images just yet, but then want do you expect from something that small.

At 410cc, it uses 14 LEDs as its light source which provides the full spectrum of colour, but wonÂ’t be as bright as if theyÂ’d used DLP technology.

To overcome this though, Sony has produced a special screen that will produce brighter images on up to a 20 inch surface with a maximum resolution of 800 x 600.

The Tiny Tim of projectors will be powered by a small external power adaptor and be totally portable. ThereÂ’s no price, model number or release date as yet, but weÂ’ll keep you updated.
