Sony CDX-GT610U and Sony CDX-GT616U car stereo revealed
Sony is about to launch their new CDX-GT610U/CDX-GT616U CD tuner/ changer controller with front panel USB input for personal audio player. There is no excuse now to leave behind all your music collection stored on your PC while you are on your car. With the new Sony CDX-GT610U/CDX-GT616U you will be able to play music files in MP3, WMA or ACC formats from any digital source that is connected via its easily-accessible front panel USB socket. The front panel’s USB socket allows ‘plug and play’ connection with a Sony Walkman or virtually any digital audio player equipped with a USB port. Walkman functions can be controlled directly from the front panel or via the handy sub-credit card sized remote – allowing back seat drivers to pick the playlist from the comfort of their seat. Album, track title and artist information is displayed automatically on the large 13-segment display, and the Walkman battery is trickle charged during play! | | The new Sony CDX-GT610U/CDX-GT616U is also a CD tuner/changer controller that can play discs burned from your PC in MP3, WMA, AAC or ATRAC formats. It features Sony-developed DRIVE-S chassis technology that teams improved sound quality with superior reliability. Digital audio reproduction is superb thanks to ultra-precise 24-bit D/A conversion, while ample power is provided by 4 x 50W S-MOSFET output stages. The Sony CDX-GT610U/CDX-GT616U car CD player will be available from January 2007. |
