Sony has created a marvel in the new Vaio TZ-Series with its impressive security features such as fingerprint recognition and TPM (Trusted Platform Module) Hardware Encryption. James Bond would be the first to get his private eye on this piece of kit as not only does it have outstanding security measures it also has been made from the most lightweight materials possible (apart from polystyrene) making it ultra portable for those on the go, or run.
These materials consist of a hard-wearing carbon fibre casing that is extremely light and protective and is also used in the world of formula one racing cars. The weight is therefore kept to a mere 1.19kgs. Inside the revolutionary casing is a 11.1 inch X-Black LED backlit screen, a microscopic Motion Eye Webcam (cleverly located in the frame surrounding the screen) an Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra-Low Voltage CPU with 2GB DDR2 SDRAM. This can be extended up to 100GB, which is the most available on a laptop today. DVD’s, computer games, and photos can be viewed with ease with the Instant On feature which allows you to display them without having to boot up Windows, great for when you need an instant distraction for the kids, or yourself. The wireless wonder also has Windows Vista Business installed as standard and several Adobe software packages. With all the necessary additions and a few smart added extras, the TZ-Series really is a fantastic, ultra portable machine and a perfect upgrade for any laptop lover. |
