Sony Vaio P-Series Laptop - Tiny & Stylish but can it compete?

The P-Series laptops are super light at only 638g and small enough to carry around all day without hardly noticing, fitting in to your handbag or backpack with ease. They are been thoughtfully crafted, as all Sony products are, and have Windows Vista or XrossBar Media function (as seen on Sony Bravia Tv's) depending  on your needs as well as High Speed mobile broadband with 3G technology to give you flexibility and convenience.

 

An 8" screen gives you a good view without the need to scroll sideways and offers a screen resolution of 1600x768 with an LED backlight. GPS is also included to give you the convenience of locating nearby amenities or sights.

 

 

When comparing the new Sony P-Series Vaio to its rivals, it may have the favoured (but necessary?) specifications and a great small compact size, but the Asus Eee PC, for example, is a lot cheaper and has many of the same functions and small size. Another difference which may sway toward its rivals (as well as the lottery winner price) is the fact that Sony had to ditch the mouse pad due to the lack of space and therefore opted for a rubber joystick instead. An impressive piece of kit if you have the spare cash, but there are many mini laptops out there that will do the job in hand just as well for a fraction of the price.
