Sony PSP Slim - Due Soon
Last week the tech rumor mill was very busy talking about the launch of a new slimmed down version of the PSP. Well we thought that we better get in on the action and try and find out whats going on. On the face of it, the rumor that there would be a slimmed down version of the PSP launched at E3 later next month is purely that A RUMOUR. The guys over at PSPextra contacted Dave Karraker from Sony Computer Entertainment America and he commented: "This is pure rumor and speculation, for which we don't comment." so that should put a end to the story but unfortunately it doesn't because Sony always deny any knowledge of new products even if they are the worst kept secrets like the PS3 price and spec.
Sources close to Sony say the new PSP will have a new and improved LED screen, longer battery life (it needs it), 8 GB internal flash memory and a new D-pad.
Do we think this rumor to true? Hell yes, Sony needs to revamp the PSP because Nintendo is wiping the floor with them sales wise so expect to see the new slimmed down PSP in the shops for Christmas. Fingers Crossed.
