Sony Only Send 222,000 PS3 to the UK
Sony’s gaming spokesperson describes Nintendo Wii fans as mere amateurs compared to PS3’s hardcore, committed gamers, but they still only send 222,000 to the UK.

they said there was no comparison between ps3 and wii, he never mentioned the 360.
also, 222,000 is quite a large number of ps3s for a small country like the uk, no doubt they will all be taken, but you dont need to be too worried about being at the front of the pre-order queue.

those figures really need clarification. if (as the article says) its 220k for launch date, thats a huge amount, more than the wii and 360 put together. if its for the whole launch period, its not enough - the uk is the worlds third biggest game market, after all.
