The Sony W Series (Model NWZ-W202) is the cheaper of the 2 new series and is totally unique to any other MP3 player on the market as it is wearable on your head. The MP3 player itself is discreetly built in to the secure-fit headphones. There are no wires at all so is perfect for taking to the gym or on a run for example. It holds up to 500 tracks on 2GB of storage and has a new technology called Zappin to find songs quickly by playing the first few seconds of the chorus of each song. Clever. The battery life is great with up to 12 hours as well as being able to get a quick 90 minute surge from a 3 minute quick charge. Drag and drop works very much the same as other Sony Walkman and is simple to use and it supports most popular file formats. The Sony X Series has two models available, the NWZ-Z1060 and NWZ-X1060. The X1050 comes in 16GB and the X1060 comes in 32GB holding 4000 and 8000 tracks respectively. The design of the two models is great as they are small enough to slip into a pocket or small bag but also large enough to have a 3" OLED touchscreen. The full colour OLED touchscreen has been used for 100% colour reproduction with a 10000:1 contrast ratio and wider viewing angles.
