Sony has announced the launch of its new range of Bravia LCD TVs, the W4000 series. Sony is quoted as saying the W4000 series embraces the future of television. It offers exquisite image quality and offers 1080p full HD, excellent for both movies, gaming and photos.
The Bravia W4000 series combines advance picture technologies, which it uses to maximum effect. Using the award winning Sony XMB interface and boasts Bravia Sync technology, which uses HDMI2 connections with the home theatre system which allows you to watch a film on a Blu-ray player with the touch of one button on the remote control.
With the use of xvYCC which is due to replace the industry standard sRGB, the W4000 is set to be future proof and the 24p true cinema mode will be a big hit with home cinema enthusiasts.
When the set is not in use The Picture Frame mode can be used to display digital images. You can either view your own photos via the USB photo viewer or simply use the six preinstalled images.
