Sony Cybershot W170, W150, W130, W120, W110 – Five new stunning Sony's

The next in Sony’s new roll-out is the Cybershot W-Series. This series consists of five new digital camera models starting with the Sony Cybershot W170.

The Sony W170 has 10.1 mega pixels, a 28mm wide angle lens with 5x zoom, Smile Shutter and Face Detection, D-Range optimiser for better results with backlit scenes, Intelligent Scene recognition, High Sensitivity ISO 3200, a 2.7” Clear Photo LCD and HD output.

This easy to use series arrives in a variety of stunning colours, pink, blue, black, gold and silver, which coat the rounded edges of these small and compact models. The range includes some entry level cameras as well as the more sophisticated cameras with high specifications.

The Intelligent Scene Recognition feature is again been included with this series and takes over the important decision making when taking a shot. (Ideal for those who get confused over the different settings available). This feature will automatically select the most suited settings to the shooting situations and take two images, one with optimised setting and one with standard settings allowing you to choose your preferred shot.

The Sony W150 boasts also has a 2.7” Clear Shot LCD Plus Screen with 8.1 mega pixels, the W130 has 8.1 mega pixels along with a 4x zoom lens, Super SteadyShot, Smile Shutter and Face Detection as does the W120 but with 7.2 mega pixels. The Sony Cybershot W110 is the entry level model with 7.2 mega pixels, Smile Shutter and Face Detection.

The Sony Cybershot W-Series is due to be released in April 2008 and will be priced between £90 and £160.
