Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray Player announced

The Sony BDP-S360 has a great design with a much slimmer body than the previous models, and a cool shiny front to compliment your Sony Bravia LCD TV or other. There are some great features on board too including Sony's XrossMedia Bar for on-screen menu control with much needed and necessary connections such as an Ethernet port and USB 2.0 for BD Live content and the transfer of content to other devices. Other features include 7.1 Surround Sound through Dolby True HD and DTS-HD, 24p True Cinema, 1080p compatible, Precision Cinema HD Upscale Technology and a start-up time of only 6 seconds.

Sony thought it only right to enhance your viewing experience with great sound and have therefore announced two new surround sound systems to coincide with the Blu-ray player. The Sony HT-SS360 has satellite speakers with 1000W total power output and the Sony HT-FS3 2.1 channel system which will tune into FM and AM radio, both being controlled via Sony' Bravia Link with a single remote.

So, impressive stuff with great features to get the best out of your Blu-ray dvd's providing you with sharp, detailed images and the same goes for the sound.


The Sony BDP-S360 will be priced at around £230 but there are no release dates as yet.
