Small Business Insurance - Fire Blazed Through London Building

Fire disrupts City of London businesses.

A fire blazed through a five story building recently with 3 businesses been closed in the City of London. Many other businesses were affected by the fire as fire fighters cordoned off the surrounding area’s preventing other workers from getting to their offices.

Fortunately no one was injured but The Prophet pub, The East Rooms and Sosho a popular city night club were severely damaged in the fire which is likely to have caused millions of pounds worth of damage and large insurance claims.

The fire started in one building but quickly spread. The fate of this building is still unknown but none of the businesses will be able to operate for the foreseeable future. The fire not only caused damage to the before mentions establishments but affected various other local businesses with smoke which bellowed out from the building and interrupted trade at Marks and Spencer, Gap and other fashion stores in the area.
