Sharp adds eight to HD Aquos LCD TV range

All of them will naturally be HD ready and come equipped with Sharp’s latest panel and picture enhancing technology.

They’ve gone eco-friendly with the introduction of two low energy consuming models;  LC-32GA9E and LC-37GA9E have received the European Union Eco-label, awarded to products that minimise impact on the environment.

Four of the models will come with integrated digital Freeview as well as Sharp’s TruD anti-judder technology for enhanced viewing. And all sets will have a contrast ratio of 1200:1, 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution, 6ms response time for fast-moving images and a viewing angle of 176 degrees.

Connections include two Scarts, PC In, and one HDMI (with an extra one thrown in on the GA9 and GD9 series).

Release date is sometime at the end of the month and there's no prices yet but the model numbers for the eight Aquos LCD range are: LC-32GA8E, LC-37GA8E, LC-32GD8E, LC-37GD8E, LC-32GA9E, LC-37GA9E, LC-32GD9E, LC-37GD9E
