The Sharp TU-R160H comes with a decent sized 160GB hard drive which allows you to record up to 80 hours of recording and comes with a handy eight-day electronic programme guide. If you don’t have a Sky+ box the TU-R160H is a great alternative. While it doesn’t allow dual programme recording at the same time, it does, like the Sky+ allow live pause and playback meaning you can pause the start of EastEnders, finish off dishing out your dinner and come back and watch it all.
