Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 Camcorder launched - Worlds Smallest 1080i Camcorder

The high definition camcorder from Sanyo is very appealing, not only due to the tiny price tag, but because it is tiny. Measuring only 27mm wide and weighing only 142g, the Sanyo CS1 is the perfect companion for any trip along with the pistol style handgrip making it comfortable to hold. It can record 1080i HD resolution 1920x1080 in the MP4 format which can be saved to SD card, SDHC card or SDXC.

There is a 2.7 inch flip out LCD screen and a HDMI port allowing you to view footage on a HDTV easily. There is also a 3.4MP sensor which allows for 8MP still images and a 9x optical zoom for those all important close-up shots.

The Flip MiniHD and Flip Ultra HD camcorders continued the craze for such a small handheld camcorder with high definition capabilities and with the continuing success they have enjoyed, the Sanyo CS1 is sure to follow suit.

The Sanyo VPC-CS1 has a suggested retail price of £250, available Friday 5th March.
