The ST500 and ST550 cameras offer a new exclusive feature which has front and back LCD technology so you can take self portraits with ease. No buttons are required to take a shot as a smile will trigger the shutter release.
Both models have 12.2 mega pixels, a 1.5 inch front LCD, a 3.5 inch rear touch LCD screen with a Smart Gesture User Interface which has an orientation sensor built-in so navigation is quick and simple. A one touch auto focus feature allows you to select a subject on the screen by simply touching it and the subject is automatically focused on. Other features include 720p video recording at 30fps, the ST550 has a HDMI and a 27mm wide angle lens. There is also Smart Face Recognition, Smart Auto Scene Recognition and Dual Image Stabilisation.

The Samsung ST1000 has a whole host of new features too. On board is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The first camera to have these features also has the same specifications as the two above, but leads the way with these impressive extras. The GPS allows for Geotagging and will inform you of your exact location. The Bluetooth function will allow you to send photos to friends via their mobile phone and the Wi-Fi function lets you attach them and send them by email. With DLNA on board too, images can be displayed on an HD TV and digital photo frame.

All three models will be available this month.
