Pure Chronos CD DAB radio released

But this isn’t just a digital radio, no, Pure have tweaked with the bog standard DAB and to this triangular looking radio they’ve added a CD player too.

The top loading CD and MP3 CD player is compatible with CD, CD-R, CD/RW audio media nad MP3/WMA discs or if you don’t fancy a CD you could plug in your iPod and listen to that instead.

It promises to deliver top notch digital-quality audio from the dual stereo speakers that are attached. The radio will also come with four independent alarms so you could have a chorus of tunes going off to wake you up or you could hit set one alarm and just keep hitting the snooze button to switch it off.

There’s also an adjustable sleep time to help you into the land of nod. And other than that there’s the usual scrolling text, adjustable backlight with an auto-dimmer and textSCAN.

Chronos CD will be available from September 2006 for just £99.99
