Pioneer DCS-590, DCS-585 & DCS-FS30 Home Theatre Systems launched

All three systems offer DVD 1080p upscaling and have support for DivX video along with a front USB port for easy access to MP3 files etc. Different speakers are supplied with each model with the DCS-590 having tallboy speakers and the DCS-585 having satellite speakers both being 5.1 channel systems and the FS30 having 2.1 channels with slim front speakers.

 

Pioneer also claims that all three are able to rip CD's directly via the USB port to MP3 files on a USB memory device at up to 320kbps.

 

The DCS-590 and DCS-585 models have Pioneers MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Collaboration) system which is 'a sophisticated technology that actively 'listens' and creates a soundscape automatically and optimised to the acoustics of the user's home entertainment space.'

 

The new systems will be available in August and prices will be confirmed soon.
