Nikon D5000 DSLR Camera is announced
The D5000 has been plied with HD Movie recording capability, the same of that on the Nikon D90, along with the D-Movie function, in camera editing options, 19 scene modes and full manual mode is an option too. Nikon are freeing up the features to ensure the user has free reign over how images are captured and later edited if desired while also providing the option of a full Auto mode for those who want the cameras intelligent system do the work.

A 12.3 mega pixel sensor with high sensitivity ranging between ISO 200-3200 (or ISO 100-6400) is in there too with a 2.7" Vari-angle LCD monitor, and a recording resolution of 720p. In order to make image capture as perfect as possible, Nikon have also provided four sorts of contrastAutoFocus, which are wide area, normal area, new subject tracking and face detection.
Other great Nikon features are, an Integrated Dust Reduction System, Advanced AutoFocus, Scene Recognition, Active D-Lighting, Live view, Quiet Shooting Mode and an Extensive In-Camera Retouch Menu.
The Nikon D5000 DLSR camera will be available from May 1st 2009 priced at £719.99 for the body only and £799.99 with a 15-55 VR lens kit.
