New Vexia EcoNav - Now Displays Speeding Fines

A new EcoNav Sat Nav device by Vexia is being released this week, which will warn drivers of potential fines and additional costs when breaking the speed limit.

In a bid to further reduce traffic offences and help make our streets safer, the new EcoNav will display the cost of any fine the driver is about to, or could potentially commit of they do not stick to the speed limit, even down to the additional administration fees that the user may have to pay. The system is rather aptly named: 'Less Points, Less Fines'.

This is a great idea as a lot of people neglect to pay attention to speed traps and cameras now that they are used to them, in credit crunch Britain every penny counts, especially with fuel prices increasing, so to display on the Sat Nav the amount of money a driver will likely lose and the number of points they will receive for committing an offence, we can see this having a big effect on the drivers speed and awareness.

The new EcoNav will set you back £149.99 and will probably pay for itself with the fines it will save you! However the 'Less Points, Less Fines' software will also be available for existing EcoNav users via a free software update, which you'll be able to install via a laptop or desktop PC connected to the Sat Nav, so don't worry, you'll still be able to enjoy all these features.
