New Olympus PEN Series E-PL1: Light and User Friendly

Widely acclaimed Olympus PEN Series Cameras E-P1 and E-P2, are known for their light and compact form so the newest edition to the family comes with open arms.  The new E-PL1 is the third model in the Micro Four Thirds System and will debut in March 2010.  

Olympus brags that the E-PL1 has HD video recording, a 12MP sensor and interchangeable sensor and is super compact measuring 4.51″ W x 2.84″ H x 1.63″ D and 10.4-ounces. With an easy to use interface and a reasonable cost of $599, it's quite consumer friendly. The E-PL1 includes a Live Guide where users that aren't familiar with a lot of SLR-class photographic techniques can still easily take advantage of all the extra features.  With the Live Guide, users can easily adjust brightness, hue, background defocusing and other image parameters. Pick your choice of black, champagne gold, and white as interchangeable lens colors and get snapping.
