New Macbook Pro Review Says It Kicks Out Some Serious Heat.

The nice people at PC Authority in Australia have tested the latest MacBook Pro that was launched a couple of weeks ago. The new model comes with the all new Core i7 CPU. Testing shows that the Core i7 CPU was hitting temperatures over 100 Degrees Celsius when it was pushed hard running Windows 7 in boot camp. In fact, the MacBook's unibody aluminum shell got so hot that the tester had to stand the laptop on its side to stop it melting the desk.

"From our testing in both Windows and OS X it seems that while the CPU is powerful, the heat output associated with it running at full load is definitely a cause for concern," said Baxter. "In this case the fantastic looks of the unibody Aluminium design are let down by the sheer amount of heat buildup experienced."

We know the new MacBook's are meant to be hot property but this takes the biscuit, wouldn't you agree.
