NEWS UPDATE: Vodafone To Sell iPhone
It was announced that O2 would be losing exclusivity for the Apple iPhone as Orange signed a deal to sell the hugely popular smartphone in the UK. It has now been announced that Vodafone will also be in the running to compete with both network as it too has secured the rights to sell the iconic mobile phone. O2 have enjoyed exclusivity for the iPhone since 2007, and during that time has sold to over one million customers. We are now in the position, particularly in the run-up to Christmas, where there will be a 3-way price war to pull in as many subscribers for the iPhone in as possible. This can only be a good thing for customers as prices are sure to drop sharply as all three networks slug it out for dominance in this lucrative market.
