Mio V505 & V735 NEW TV Sat Nav
The Mio V505 Sat Nav has a 4.7" super flat widescreen, Digital Freeview TV installed which it will automatically tune itself in to the channels, Explore Mode to provide more information about your journey and your final destination, Text to Speech provides spoken road names, TruMap with clear road instructions, speed limits, Lane Guidance and Junction Views.
The V735 model offers a massive 7" screen which Mio suggest is more useful for passengers for navigation and TV entertainment. The TV guide allows you to see programmes for up to a week in advance and use the simple touchscreen to select them and to alter brightness and volume. There is also the option of listening to MP3 tracks and storing music and photos on the internal memory or MicroSD card slot. A 600Hz processor ensures super sharp images and fast response times.
Although the V505 and V735 Sat Nav systems have a TV option, Mio state that it must not be used in the front of the vehicle while driving, or in any way that may distract the driver.
The V505 and V735 will be available from July 2009.
