Microsoft confirm rumours of the Xbox 360 Elite – with 120GB hard-drive and HDMI port.

Gossip has been flying around for some time about the Xbox 360 Elite and now it has finally materialised and with its jet black exterior, a 120GB hard-drive a HDMI port, it sure looks good.

If you decide to go for the Xbox 360 Elite you’ll get a 120 GB hard drive, a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) port built-in to the console, a high definition cable, and a premium black finish for the console, wireless controller, and Xbox LIVE headset.

The Xbox 360 Elite has been forced upon us with the above new features which make us Premium and Core Xbox 360 owners ask the question, can we upgrade our 20GB consoles without having to buy the 120GB new one? And here at Unbeatable, we can reveal the answer. The Premium and Core Xbox 360’s can be upgraded to 120GB (prices TBC) and all data that you have stored can be carried over via a migration cable which is supplied with the upgrade.

However, it is only the larger hard-drive and HDMI cable that you will be missing from your Premium and Core Xbox 360, so if you are happy with yours the way it is there will be no real need to upgrade.

The Elite version will be available in the US at the end of April 2007, but there are no confirmed release dates or prices for the UK as yet.
