No real surprise here, but the biggest launch to hit the UK this week has been the Medal of Honor. EA's shooter game has bypassed the rest and shot straight to number one representing 52% of sales for Xbox 360, 43% of sales for the PS3 and 5% for the PC.
According to GfK Chart Track EA's Medal of Honor has recorded the best ever UK launch week sales for a game in the long-running franchise. Ubisfot's Just Dance 2 and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 have also been included in the past. The top five multi-format video game chart ending in the week of October 16, 2010 is as follows:
